A BRIEF HISTORY

Southern Sons burst onto the Australian music scene in 1990 with their debut album, featuring the smash hits 'Heart in Danger' and 'Hold Me in Your Arms.' Originally known as 'The State,' the band was renowned for their powerful melodies and virtuosic musical abilities. The addition of charismatic frontman Jack Jones, with his incomparable voice and phenomenal guitar playing skills, was the missing piece that completed their unique sound, quickly propelling them to gain a devoted fan base. Southern Sons continue to captivate audiences with their blend of classic hits and new music, celebrating their enduring legacy and evolving artistry.
